Back in 1852, visionary entrepreneur Levi Strauss, originally from Bavaria, settled in San Francisco during the California Gold Rush. While running his haberdashery, Strauss noticed a critical need among local workers: the need for durable, long-lasting clothing. Working with talented tailor Jacob Davis, he had the brilliant idea of combining copper rivet reinforcements with an incredibly strong fabric, denim. This brilliant idea gave birth in 1873 to the first riveted overalls, a garment that would become a timeless icon: the famous "blue jeans". This piece of clothing, born from the genius and ingenuity of two men, continues to embody the spirit of adventure and resistance to this day.
